Robert is a 2005 Graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Crop and Soil
Environmental Sciences. He currently works for the Virginia Department of
Conservation and Recreation as the States only Urban Nutrient Management
Specialist. Robert works with homeowners, golf courses, sports fields and
lawn care companies training them to use fertilizers in a responsible way
that helps to protect and preserve the Chesapeake Bay. Prior to going to
work with the DCR, Robert was the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at
Winton Country Club for 5 years and worked at the club for a total of 10
years. Robert is a lifetime resident of Amherst County and in his spare
time enjoys woodworking, cooking and exploring Amherst County. He also
volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and is an active member of Clifford
Baptist Church. |
