Julius Sigler, a native of Florida, is a graduate of Lynchburg College and the University of Virginia.  He has taught physics at Lynchburg College for nearly four decades.  His interest in the environment began during his days as a Boy Scout, working on the Soil and Water Conservation merit badge and on various “Conservation Good Turns.”
